This unique restaurant space was beautifully remodeled from a 1944 church built using portable rafters that can be traced back through several moves to the Jesuit priests of Portugal in the early 1400's. The rafters are over 600 years old and represent some of the oldest building materials still in place today. They are made of Taiban, a wood product that has been extinct for some time.
